 MD6 Mercury: Is a small and easily mountable external 25 MHz. clock module, just to screw on the SI 5351 PLL unit in an VFO adapted to external clock. Mercury is only supplied as a fully assembled and tested module. PDF User Guide: MD6 Mercury |
 To use external clock modules, the VFO must be prepared for external clock. This is done with 2 interventions. In the SI 5351 itself as shown and in the software. These are carried out by us when a complete VFO is ordered. |
 Our pre-assembled VFOs with internal clock frequency deviate usually up to a few kHz on 2 Meter. Therefore, the individual VFOs are measured for the deviation of 144 MHz. and subsequently 'software corrected' from this frequency up (red curve). Anything below 144 MHz. (green curve) is not affected by the function. |

 MD6 CW-AF: Is a AF CW filter at 800 Hz. (a further development of the well-known MD 503 CW filter). The filter works on AF base and is suitable for connecting between 'MD6 DSB-SC' the demodulator and our AF amplifier module. PDF Manual: (is on the way). |
 MD6 AF-LF: Is an AF amplifier (2.5W) which includes 2 De-emphasis filters. One for PM (FM) -6dB/octave and a straight response for the speech area, + a signal path without filtering for listening to music. (separate regulation of PM level). PDF Manual: MD6 AF - LF |
 VFO 2 has 2 types of output for automatic control of an external TX ham's filter bank. '0 to 9 outputs' via flat cable and a 'four terminal' BCD coded output if this solution is preferred. For 2 meter use, it is also equipped with 'on/off' repeater switching controlled by '+ TX '. All outputs are 5V TTL level. |
